I’ve always been drawn to mythology. To me, myth is the most powerful and distilled form of storytelling. I’m fascinated by ancient history and folklore, but I don’t come from a literary or academic background. My roots are in commercial and visual art. I spent years working on other people’s projects before I figured out what stories I wanted to tell, and how I wanted to tell them.

Today, I write ancient narrative structures with contemporary emotional intimacy: dark, mythic fantasy filled with divine horror, flawed heroes, impossible choices, and love stories that leave scars.

The Oracle of Ixic is my debut novel, the first in a fantasy epic with the soul of myth, the bite of truth, and the intimacy of a secret.

Though it stands alone, it’s only the first act of something larger. There are more places to explore, characters to meet, powers to reckon with, moral dilemmas to face, and tangled relationships to tangle even more, and I’d love to share them with you.

Keep an eye out for the next book. The Prince of Mehera continues Kadmael’s journey into new lands and harder choices, where loyalties collide, consequences catch up, and no path is clear.
